Ram Kumar Kakani is VC with RV University, Karnataka and in the governing council of AIIMS Raipur, HNLU Raipur and IGNFA Dehradun. Beginning his career as a technocrat, he transitioned into academia with a focus on Finance, Strategy, and Performance. He worked earlier at IIM Kozhikode, XLRI Jamshedpur, LBSNAA Mussoorie, and held international academic roles in Denmark, Nigeria, Singapore, and the UAE. Ram also served as Director of the Government of India’s Sardar Patel Centre for Leadership Development, and IIM Raipur. A prolific author, Ram’s books span publishers like Cambridge, Sage, Routledge, and McGraw-Hill, with several textbooks in multiple editions.
